Gokul Nivas is a specialist Care Home for
Gujarati Hindu Community Elders.
The home is registered by the Commission for Social Care
Inspection for ten elderly residents requiring social as
well as personal care.
It is situated close to the lively Melton Road and has easy
access to local shops and Shree Haveli is within walking
distance.

To promote a homely atmosphere encompassing a safe
and relaxed Gujarati cultural environment in which a high standard
of care can be achieved. To treat service users

and respect appreciating their individual physical, emotional,

To promote a positive approach towards the physical and
mental rehabilitation of service users, thus enhancing
the quality of their lives.

To achieve these objectives a high level of care is provided
day and night, which embraces the fundaments principles of
good care practice and continues to provide a happy, stimulating,
stable and homely environment for its service users.
The spiritual needs of service users are provided by regular
Gujarati Satsangs from local and in-house religious groups.
